Ghosts of Tangles past
J'adore l'idée de Laura cette semaine : prendre un ancien zentangle réalisé au tout début de notre pratique et le refaire aujourdhui avec la maîtrise acquise depuis et notre style d'aujourd'hui.
Je vous propose mes deux "tiles": celui de gauche a été réalisé début 2014, et celui de droite, aujourd'hui. Malgré une pratique irrégulière et peu intense ces deux dernières années, je crois avoir progressé un peu. Qu'en pensez-vous ?
Ce qui change énormément par rapport à la premieère version, c'est l'ombrage, ça change vraiment tout ! Et puis je mets un peu plus de fantaisie dans la réalisation de certains motifs comme "cadent" et "Tipple" et aussi plus de précision dans le dessin de "Keeko" et "W2". Quant à "Cubine" et "Scallops"... peut mieux faire !!

Wonderful comparison. You are so right about shading. It certainly makes a big difference. I see another major difference. In your old one, you made definite sting lines. For the second, you have a softer and more fluid separation of tangles. Very nice!

SupprimerA big difference. One thing I think is the ability to draw finer detail and therefore fit more of each pattern into the string sections.

I love the way you have grown and relaxed with your penwork. You can see the flow is much smoother when you are relaxed and confident. The shading that you have done makes a huge difference in the way the end products look. Very nicely done and wonderful progression!
